2. When did Enagic USA get approved by the Direct Sellers Association (DSA), an association reflecting ethics, trust, and confidence?
Answer: Enagic USA finished the year-long rigorous application process and was approved on 12/06/2005. You can read about it here.
3. What is the expected life of the Enagic Leveluk SD501?
Answer: 15 years
4. What is the warranty period for repair of the Enagic Leveluk SD501?
Answer: 5 years - bumper to bumper (provided the user didn't 'cause' damage by dropping it, etc.)
5. Is there a business or a medical tax deduction for purchasing the Enagic Leveluk SD501?
Answer: When you purchase this machine, you will fill out out a W-9 form, and by recommending it to your friends and family, you have just started a business, so it is tax deductible as a business expense. See a tax specialist for advice. While this machine is approved as a 'medical device' in Japan, it has not been approved as such in the U.S, and therefore is not tax-deductible as a medical expense.
6. How often does the filter need to be replaced?
Answer: Every 3 thousand (3000) gallons, which is approximately 1 year for the average user.
7. What is the cost of the replacement filter?
Answer: The high-grade filter (recommended) is $120. The low-grade filter is $90.
8. I need testimonials of how the water has helped people to improve their health. Where can I get them?
Answer: You can hear live testimonials at most Kangen Water demonstrations. Contact us for a demo in your area. Note: This water affects everyone differently. If one person was helped with a particular ailment, there is no guarantee you will have the same results. You should try it yourself to see how your body reacts to Kangen Water (tm).
9. Why would I buy an Enagic product when other ionizers are half the price?
Answer: Simple. QUALITY. It's like the difference of buying a Yugo versus a Lexus. All Enagic products are made in-house with the highest quality parts. Their process is patented. Their titanium plates have the largest surface area. The plates are whole (versus "mesh"), and they are dipped in platinum (versus "sprayed").
